The University of Delaware chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America is a pre-professional organization designed to teach students about the public relations field. We value connection, communication, confidence, and creativity. Our members learn to establish a professional identity through speaking with professionals, "skill slam" skill development meetings, and by being active members of the PRSSA.
Opportunities Offered With PRSSA UD
Learn New Skills
Attend skills slams taught by our members in order to learn relevant PR skills such as website development and press release writing. We also host specialized seminars taught by UD professors.
Meet Professionals
Attend general meetings to meet PR Professionals in a variety of industries and learn more about jobs in PR. These meetings include a presentation from our guest followed by a Q&A. Paying members also have the opportunity to attend field trips to PR Agencies, events, and more!
Get Involved
Get involved with PRSSA and become a part of our pre-professional community. Here at PRSSA, we learn from each other. You can also get your writing published by writing for our blog!
